Dr. July is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in psychological testing and assessment. He is also credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. In addition to being a psychologist he has been a nationally best-selling relationship author of four books from Doubleday. He also wrote a textbook chapter on Personality in a Psychology textbook published by Pearson. Prior to becoming a psychologist, he had an exciting and interesting life. His background includes having been an entrepreneur, psychology professor, and a police officer. In the past, he has been a regular guest expert for CNN, the Fox News Channel, and the Great Day Houston Show. Dr. July earned a doctorate (PhD) in Psychology at Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. Elsie Burgos is a licensed psychological associate in the state of Texas with experience in mental health (children and adult) and forensic evaluations. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Elsie received her BA in science and MA in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. She has experience in community mental health clinics, outpatient settings with special needs children, and in the past couple of years has worked for the probation and corrections department as a forensic clinician. Grace Walsh, MEd, LPC

Grace Walsh, M.Ed., LPC graduated the University of Houston with a B.S. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Counseling. She completed her master's degree practicum in the counseling center at the University of St. Thomas. Grace has volunteered at Bo's Place, a bereavement center, as a co-facilitator and received training in grief counseling. She has also volunteered at the Houston Area Women’s Center as a sexual assault counselor and received training in crisis counseling. Grace has worked at the Menninger Clinic where she was a Mental Health Associate and also provided individual outpatient counseling at Menninger during her internship. She has received training in the Mandt System and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Grace offers counseling services for relationship issues, grief and loss, trauma work, family issues, self-esteem, and phase of life problems.

Dr. Jo Ann Formby, PsyD (Available in Houston & Dallas)

Dr. Jo Ann Formby is a licensed clinical psychologist and has over 25 years experience in the mental health field. She earned a doctoral degree (PsyD) in clinical psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology/Biola University in Southern California. Dr. Formby has considerable experience providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy as well as doing psychological and neurocognitive testing. Her specializations include treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, and history of trauma. She also specializes in and has a passion for working with those with medical conditions and physical disabilities, assisting them in adjusting to and managing the mental health challenges that can accompany physical illness. Through her experience providing psychological services to a wide variety of populations, as well as her personal experience of life with a physical disability, Dr. Formby is well-attuned to the interaction of mind, body, emotional, and spiritual factors that can influence one’s daily life and sense of wellbeing. She is versed in therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal process therapies.
Dr. Formby has considerable experience supervising and training clinicians who are entering the field of psychology. She was an adjunct professor at Houston Baptist University, teaching courses in psychological assessment, theories of counseling, and group psychotherapy. Sonia has a Masters of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas and is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate, National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Perinatal Mental Health Certified Provider (PMH-C). She uses a Gestalt approach with her clients, which means she sees people as greater than just the sum of all their parts. Her focus is on the mind, body, spirit, and how they interact and integrate with other parts of life. She uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help manage the issues that can prevent people from exploring themselves more deeply. Sonia works with adults, couples, families, adolescents, and children with a range of concerns, with special experience in eating disorders, gender and sexual identity issues, parenting, and adults with childhood trauma.
Sonia is certified in perinatal mental health, which focuses on the period before, during, and after childbirth or adoption of a baby. Dr. Stephanie Rodriguez-Morales earned a doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology at Carlos Albizu University in Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez-Morales has experience providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy as well as conducting psychological evaluations. She has formal training and experience with adults and children with diverse traumatic experiences, such as intimate partner violence, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. She provides treatment for trauma-related disorders, complex trauma, dissociative disorder, and depressive, anxiety, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Rodriguez-Morales is trained in EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT),Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Dr. Maria E. Torres, PhD is a graduate student from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Her clinical experience includes psychotherapy and psychological evaluations for adults, adolescents and children. The intervention models most used by Maria are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Therapy. She offers psychotherapy treatment for several conditions such as depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, substance abuse, psychotic disorders and other chronic conditions. She has also provided psychological treatment for domestic violence and sexual assault victims. Maria offers individual therapy and support in immigration case processes as well.

Dr. Kayla M. Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Kayla M. Johnson is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. She received her doctorate degree in counseling psychology from Texas A&M University (APA-accredited) in 2018. Her graduate research focused on adapting empirically-supported therapeutic interventions for use with racial and ethnic minorities. Dr. Johnson has an extensive history of working with college students and people from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds. She served as the staff psychologist at Prairie View A&M University, a historically Black university, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, she completed her post-doctoral internship at Texas A&M Student Counseling Services from 2017 to 2018. Dr. Johnson also enjoys collaborating with communities of faith in underserved communities to combat the stigma associated with mental illness through workshops and presentations.

Rolando is a counseling student in the University of St. Thomas’ Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. In 2017, he graduated from Georgetown University, double majoring in Psychology and Linguistics. Currently, he is training to get an LPC-Associate license in 2022. Having been born in Mexico, completed K-12 in Texas, attended undergrad in Washington DC, studied abroad in Italy, and lived in Germany, Rolando is committed to and recognizes the importance of understanding cultural diversity. He is passionate about social justice and working with people of all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. He has treated people with varying concerns—such as PTSD, generalized anxiety, grief, and relationship difficulties—and he has co-led a support group for LGBTQ+ people. Rolando operates primarily from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, but he also integrates mindfulness and existentialism into his counseling. Rolando speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and German.

Michelle Munever, LPA
Michelle Munevar received her B.S. in psychology from Wichita State University in Kansas and her M.S. in psychology from the APA-accredited graduate program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed her practicum at San Marcos Treatment Center, which concentrated on psychometric training with the administration and analysis of educational, objective personality, and neuropsychological assessments to residential patients in a clinical setting. Through her work in the psychometric field, she gained clinical and assessment experience with traumatic brain injury, psycho-educational, DSM clinical disorders, and neurobehavioral disorders with youth and adult populations in both clinical and forensic settings. She is proficient in administering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative assessments that look to measure intellectual, academic, objective personality traits, and neuropsychological variables in both English and Spanish. She is a Licensed Psychological Associate in the state of Texas.
Timberly Lewis, M.Ed., LPC

Timberly Lewis, LPC, graduated from The University of North Texas with a B.A. in Psychology. She obtained her M.Ed. in Counseling from The University of Texas at Austin. She completed her master’s degree practicum at Austin Independent School District and The University of Texas at Austin. Timberly has worked in pediatric psychiatry, college-counseling centers, and in outpatient settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and as a parent educator. She is also trained in Level 2 of Gottman Couples Therapy.
Juanita has several years of experience as a health care office professional. She earned her Certified Medical Assistant designation at the Coleman College for Health Sciences of the Houston Community College. Juanita graduated Waltrip High School where she was a member of the JROTC. On weekends she is a proud and enthusiastic soccer mom.
